Bowlers, just wanted to post my next 9 Pin No-Tap Sweeper that will be coming up.  It will be on Saturday, November 8th, in Knoxville, Iowa at Fairlane Bowl.  This will be a doubles sweeper, bowling 4 games across 8 lanes, and there will be one squad at 6:00 pm.  The entry fee is $60.00 per team, and first place is $500.00, and there will be optional scratch side pots and brackets.  The handicap is again 80% of 210, and based on individual averages.  Teams may consist of any combination of men and/or women.  We are limited to 24 teams and our last doubles sweeper in Knoxville filled up in advance, so if you would like to reserve a spot, send me an email at typjoe300@yahoo.com, or if you have any questions or would like more info, just let me know.  Thanks, and hope to see you all there!

Bowlers, we will again be having our Ebonite Demo Days this year.  This was a lot of fun last year, and I am looking forward to putting it on again.  We will be in Oskaloosa Iowa on Saturday, October 11th from 12 pm - 2 pm.  We will then go to Knoxville Iowa after that from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm.  If you missed this last year, this is such an awesome demo.  The Ebonite Tech Staff comes to the center and brings the newest stuff from Ebonite, this year it will be the NV'd, the Complete NV, the ONE, the Playmaker, and the Gamebreaker.  This stuff is all predrilled, and they use adjustable thumb and finger inserts to fit a ball to your hand, and you get to throw the equipment and try it out!  the cost is only $10, you get 2 hours all you can bowl with the new equipment, Ebonite Tech Staff will be at the center to watch you bowl and help make suggestions for you, plus you get a $10.00 gift certificate to the pro shop at that center.  Special prices will be available the day of the demo only, and space is limited, send me an email if you would like more info or to reserve a spot at typjoe300@yahoo.com.

Hey all, hope everyone has had a good summer so far, hard to believe it is almost over already!  Time sure does fly when you're having fun!  Won't be long, and we will all be back into the fall league swing again.  We already have our first 9 Pin No-Tap Sweeper scheduled for this year, and we will be bowling in Knoxville Iowa at Fairlane Bowl on Sunday September 7th, 2008 at 1:00 pm.  Our first sweeper this year will be a singles format, 6 games across 12 lanes, entry fee is $35.00 and first place is $300.00.  Bowlers will use their highest 2007-08 Book Avg of at least 21 games, and the handicap will be 80% of 210.  There will be Brackets and Side Pots available.  We always filled up early in Knoxville last year, so make your reservations early this time to avoid being shut-out, we are limited to 42 bowlers.  If you would like to make a reservation, or would like more info, you can email me at typjoe300@yahoo.com.  I look forward to seeing everyone again this year at the bowl!
